Lego Mindstorms has come a long way since its original 1994 incarnation. Lego's third generation EV3 robotics kit ($350), introduced at this year's CES, has been modernized for mobile programming, with a wireless Bluetooth connectivity and an integrated smartphone app, and is compatible with Lego's older NXT 2.0 kits. Scratch for NXT - Enchanting 0.0.4

 Clinton Blackmore has continued working on his programming tool called "Enchanting". His goal is to make it easier for children to program their NXTs. 

"This video shows off Enchanting version 0.0.4, which can be used to program LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots in a Scratch-like environment."

 Now it has just been made easier to make your very own Android apps for LEGO MINDSTORMS!

Thursday 16 December it was announced that the App Inventor for Android has integrated a palette of control functions for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT that allows you to build your own app for your Android devices that can control your LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT robot with its motors and sensors.
