The Teemino board is based on an Arduino Mega 2560
Teemino is an Android ADK compatible board based on Arduino Mega/2560 with USB host. This board is based on Google's reference design of Android USB accessory. Using this board and the NXShield-M, you'll be able to connect your Android device and your Lego Mindstorms NXT robot
The board has all the features of an Arduino Mega2560 and also the USB host extensions as defined by Google's Android ADK design.
Hispabrick 013 is now out, in both Spanish and English. As well as the usual range of great general LEGO articles, they have once again include some excellent articles devoted to MINDSTORMS.

How does the WifiBlock NXT robot work?
Connected to one of the four sensors ports of your NXT brick, the WifiBlock receives orders from your robot and relays them over an IP network using its wireless connection. The WifiBlock exchanges data with any device connected to your local network (computer, smartphone, and tabl...

For who loves graphical programming languages, like NXT-G, I signal an interesting growing project: CATROID. CATROID, brother of Google App Inventor, takes its steps from MIT-developed SCRATCH programming language, and implements some blocks to control the NXT brick via Bluetooth!
It is still a bit limited, but it's the first on-phone graphical programming language for the NXT. Even the textual programmers should be quite excited.
NXTAVATAR is a Tele-presence robot. It is build with LEGO®MINDSTORMS®
It is developed to make it possible for kids around the globe to play with each other in a new interactive way. Therefore it uses Skipe® to connect the kids with each other. It is designed to handle latency/disruption of the video connection as good as possible.
It Features: - Remote control using the internet - Face to face interaction - Full audio & video communication - Moves forward & backward - Turns left & right - Looks...
NXT Car controlled by Android phone. this application is programmed via App Inventor, it try to read the sensors of the mobile and convert them to Bluetooth command.
A vehicle's wheels rotate at different speeds, mainly when turning corners. The differential is designed to drive a pair of wheels while allowing them to rotate at different speeds. In vehicles without a differential, such as karts, both driving wheels are forced to rotate at the same speed, usually on a common axle driven by a simple chain-drive mechanism. When cornering, the inner wheel needs to travel a shorter distance than the outer wheel, so with no differential, the result is the inner... Continue reading...
Intelligent Car: Steering and differential gives it unique driving capabilities.
This robot is composed: 1 Motor for Differential (go forward and backward), 1 Motor responsible to turn right and left, 1 Ultra-Sonic to detect obstacles, 2 touch sensor to detect obstacles.

NXTBee is the latest product introduced by dexter industries. It's a wireless communication device which allows communication between NXT's. The XBee 802.15 (ZigBee) communication protocol is the standard for robots everywhere. This protocol is very well documented and used in thousands projects. The performance of the NXTBee greatly exceeds Bluetooth, infrared, and other forms of communication currently available for the NXT.
The NXTBee can send information up to 300 ft and the NXTBee PRO u... Continue reading...
A Braitenberg vehicle is a concept conceived in a thought experiment by the Italian-Austrian cyberneticist Valentino Braitenberg to illustrate in an evolutive way the abilities of simple agents. The vehicles represent the simplest form of behavior based artificial intelligence or embodied cognition, i.e. intelligent behavior that emerges from sensorimotor interaction between the agent and its environment, without any need for an internal memory, representation of the environment, or inferen...
The checkpoint project is composed of the following components: * one Ultrasonic sensor to detect the traversed car. * one light sensor to detect a specific color of car per example. * one motor to open and close the gateway when a car is traversed.
